Queen's Square Pattern & Knit In Public Day

June 9th is Knit in Public day and we are taking over Queen's Square Park in downtown Galt from 2-5pm. We'll be soaking up the sun, enjoying our fellow knitters, and working on a community art installation for the library! Feel free to bring a lawn chair or a blanket to sit on.

Everyone in the Greater-Cambridge community is invited to create & donate a Queen's Square. These quick little bits are a terrific way to use up sock scraps, and the pattern is free on our Patterns section.

Knitting can be done in advance, and the finished squares can be dropped off at the park, or at the shop ahead of the event. Shop staff will assemble the squares and the Idea Exchange will proudly display our collaborative effort for the whole community to enjoy!

Let us know if you have any questions about this project, either by email or at the shop at 519-267-7337.
