Fair Isle I Class; January 11th, 2020
A one-part workshop to introduce the basics of Fair Isle Knitting: a traditional method of creating coloured patterns by working two yarns simultaneously. The class will cover fair isle history, working methods, yarn dominance and finishing.
When: Saturday, January 11th, 2020, from 12-2pm
Prerequisites: Basic knitting skills (knit, purl, increase, decrease)
Materials: 50g fingering weight yarn in each of three colours; 3.0mm & 3.5mm 16" cirlcular, or long circular for magic loop. All class materials can be purchased at Galt House of Yarn, though you may bring your own.
Cancellations and Refunds: If there is insufficient registration for the class (minimum 3 participants), you will be notified at least 2 days before the start of class and your full fee refunded. If you wish to withdraw from the class entirely, you must contact Galt House of Yarn at least 2 business days before the start of classes to obtain a refund. We regret that there are no refunds for class absences or make-up sessions.
