Fair Isle I Class; June 15th, 2019
A one-part workshop to introduce the basics of Fair Isle Knitting: a traditional method of creating coloured patterns by working two yarns simultaneously. The class will cover fair isle history, working methods, yarn dominance and finishing.
When: Saturday, June 15th, 2019, from 12-2pm
Prerequisites: Basic knitting skills (knit, purl, increase, decrease)
Materials: ~100yds fingering weight yarn in two contrasting colours colours; 2.75mm set of four double pointed needles, or long circulars for magic loop. All class materials can be purchased at Galt House of Yarn, though you may bring your own.
Cancellations and Refunds: If there is insufficient registration for the class (minimum 3 participants), you will be notified at least 2 days before the start of class and your full fee refunded. If you wish to withdraw from the class entirely, you must contact Galt House of Yarn at least 2 business days before the start of classes to obtain a refund. We regret that there are no refunds for class absences or make-up sessions.
