Brioche II Class; March 23rd, 2019
A one-time, two-hour workshop to introduce secondary concepts of Brioche Knitting: an innovative way to work two colours simultaneously while creating reversible - and very warm - fabrics. The class will review brioche knitting & purling, and introduce increasing & decreasing to create pattern shaping. By the end of the class you will be set up to knit a two-tone brioche hat.
When: Saturday, March 23rd, 2019, from 12-2pm.
Prerequisites: basic brioche knitting skills (brk, brp)
Materials: 50g DK-weight yarn in EACH of two colours; 3.5mm 16" circular needles; stitch marker; copy of "Beezee Hat" pattern by Katrin Schubert (available on Ravelry). All class materials can be purchased at Galt House of Yarn, though you may bring your own.
Cancellations and Refunds: If there is insufficient registration for the class (minimum 3 participants), you will be notified at least 2 days before the start of class and your full fee refunded. If you wish to withdraw from the class entirely, you must contact Galt House of Yarn at least 2 business days before the start of classes to obtain a refund. We regret that there are no refunds for class absences or make-up sessions.
