Knitting I (Evening); February 20th, 27th and March 6th, 2026

Always wanted to learn to knit? There's no time like the present! Join us for three 2-hour classes and learn all the basics of knitting: cast on, cast off, knit, purl, ribbing and decreasing. By the end of the class, you'll have knit your very own hat! 

All class attendees must be 16 years or older.

When: Fridays, February 20th, 27th and March 6th, from 7-9pm. 
You will be given 'homework' during the week; please allow additional time at home to work on your projects. 

Prerequisites: none.

Materials: 100g worsted weight yarn; 4.5mm needles (16" circular and set of double pointed). All class materials can be purchased at Galt House of Yarn, though you may bring your own. This class occurs after hours and the cash register will be closed. Please purchase items in advance.

An email confirming class details will be sent approximately 4 days ahead of the class from classes@galthouseofyarn.ca

Cancellations and Refunds: 

If there is insufficient registration for the class (minimum 3 participants), you will be notified and your full class registration fee will be refunded.

If you no longer able to participate in your class, you must contact classes@galthouseofyarn.ca prior to the class confirmation email being sent. Once your class has been confirmed, we are no longer able to withdraw you from the class or issue a refund.

We regret that there are no refunds for class absences and no make-up sessions.
