Knitting II - Slippers; October 21st and 28th, 2025

This two-part workshop will introduce the basics of knitting cozy woolen slippers! The class will use the free Non-Felted Slippers Pattern from Biscotte Yarns

All class attendees must be 16 years or older.

When: Tuesdays, October 21st and 28th, 2025, from 7-9pm

Prerequisites: basic knitting skills (cast on, knit, purl, increase, decrease) and magic loop

Materials: The pattern calls for 2 strands of worsted held together to create a bulky weight yarn.
We suggest the Novita 7 Brothers or Berocco Vintage. If you’d prefer, you could knit with just one strand of bulky using Alafosslopi. (All of these can be purchased at the store!)

You’ll also need: 5.5mm circular needles that are 100cm/40in, a stitch marker, and darning needle

 All class materials can be purchased at Galt House of Yarn, though you may bring your own.

Cancellations and Refunds: If there is insufficient registration for the class (minimum 3 participants), you will be notified at least 2 days before the start of class and your full fee refunded. If you wish to withdraw from the class entirely, you must contact Galt House of Yarn at least 2 business days before the start of classes to obtain a refund. We regret that there are no refunds for class absences or make-up sessions.
