Lamana Torino

Torni is a micro-bouclé superlight yarn made of 80 % superfine merino wool and 20 % silk. The carded yarn gets its unique lightness through an innovative manufacturing method by which the temperature-regulating and breathable properties are supported positively.

The mulesing-free raw merino wool for Torino is sourced from selected Australian shepherds and the mulberry silk used comes from China. It is spun and dyed by a family-run traditional company in Italy. This yarn is certified according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, Product Class I.

Torino is an exceptionally luxurious Bouclé yarn for the whole year. It feels wonderfully soft on the skin and is therefore particularly suitable for fine scarves and stoles and gives garments an incomparable lightness and a gently flowing fall.

Knitted with one-strand, it's perfect for delicate shawls and lightweight garments and accessories for year-round wear. Worked double-stranded, Torino is the ideal choice for designs that are warm, cozy, and whose texture makes it truly special.
