
Crochet II - Holiday Hexagon Stocking; November 15th and 22nd, 2025
There is nothing so satisfying as a beautiful homemade stocking to bolster your holiday decorations or holiday gift giving. Learn how to make super trendy crocheted hexagons and then assemble them to craft your own heirloom stocking.
Prerequisites: you have completed Crochet I and/or are comfortable with chaining, single crochet, double crochet, starting and finishing off crochet projects.
When: Saturday, November 15th and 22nd, from 8-10am
Materials needed:
- 5mm hook;
- Worsted weight (no. 4) yarn in four colours;
100g of the main colour
75g of colour 2 (row 3 and stocking cuff);
50g of colour 3;
25g of colour 4 (it is the center of the hexagons);
optional - 100g ball of King Cole Velveteen in snow for a plush cuff
- 1 stitch marker, tapestry needle and scissors.

All class materials can be purchased at Galt House of Yarn, though you may bring your own. This class occurs after hours and the cash register will be closed. Please purchase items in advance.

Cancellations and Refunds: If there is insufficient registration for the class (minimum 3 participants), you will be notified at least 2 days before the start of class and your full fee refunded. If you wish to withdraw from the class entirely, you must contact Galt House of Yarn at least 2 business days before the start of classes to obtain a refund. We regret that there are no refunds for class absences or make-up sessions.
