Knitting II - Cables; September 26th, 2026

A beginner-intermediate class to introduce cable knitting. Join us for a 2-hour workshop to learn the basics of cables, including twists, braids, relief stitches and reading charts. 

All class attendees must be 16 years or older.

When: Saturday, September 26th from 8-10am

Prerequisites: basic knitting skills (cast on, knit, purl)

Materials: 100g worsted weight yarn; 4.5mm needles; cable needle, stitch markers.
All class materials can be purchased at Galt House of Yarn, though you may bring your own. This class occurs after hours and the cash register will be closed. Please purchase items in advance. 

Cost: $37

An email confirming the details will be sent approximately 4 days ahead of the class from classes@galthouseofyarn.ca

Cancellations and Refunds: 

If there is insufficient registration for the class (minimum 3 participants), you will be notified and your full class registration fee will be refunded.

If you no longer able to participate in your class, you must contact classes@galthouseofyarn.ca prior to the class confirmation email being sent. Once your class has been confirmed, we are no longer able to withdraw you from the class or issue a refund.

We regret that there are no refunds for class absences and no make-up sessions.
