Knitting II - Sweater; February 10th, 17th and 24th, 2026

An intermediate class that will walk you through the completion of a top-down, raglan pullover. Join us for three 2-hour classes to learn the basics of sweater construction, working the the round, dividing and knitting sleeves, and how to customize for size. 

All class attendees must be 16 years or older.

When: Tuesdays, February 10th, 17th and 24th from 7-9pm. 

You will be given 'homework' during the week; please allow additional time at home to work on your projects. 

Prerequisites: basic knitting skills (cast on, knit, purl, increase, decrease)

Materials: 200-600g worsted weight yarn; 4.0mm and 5.0mm 16" and 32" circular needles and set of four double pointed needles; darning needle; stitch markers.
You will be contacted in advance of the class to further discuss materials. All class materials can be purchased at Galt House of Yarn, though you may bring your own. This class occurs after hours and the cash register will be closed. Please purchase items in advance.

Cancellations and Refunds: 

If there is insufficient registration for the class (minimum 3 participants), you will be notified and your full class registration fee will be refunded.

If you no longer able to participate in your class, you must contact classes@galthouseofyarn.ca prior to the class confirmation email being sent. Once your class has been confirmed, we are no longer able to withdraw you from the class or issue a refund.

We regret that there are no refunds for class absences and no make-up sessions.
