Knitting III - Afterthought Heels; May 2nd, 2026

A one-time, two-hour workshop on how to add a heel to any tube of knitting, transforming it into a sock!

When: Saturday, May 2nd, 2026 from 8-10am

Prerequisites: Basic knitting skills (knit, purl, increases and decreases), some experience with knitting in the round and making a sock. 

Materials: Sock yarn of your choice and and appropriate needles; small scissors, locking stitch markers or bulb pins, and a darning needle. You will need to have the body of the sock completed (or a sock tube purchased) before the class begins. Participants will be contacted in advance with instructions.

Cancellations and Refunds: 

If there is insufficient registration for the class (minimum 3 participants), you will be notified and your full class registration fee will be refunded.

If you no longer able to participate in your class, you must contact classes@galthouseofyarn.ca prior to the class confirmation email being sent. Once your class has been confirmed, we are no longer able to withdraw you from the class or issue a refund.

We regret that there are no refunds for class absences and no make-up sessions.
