Knitting III - Brioche (Morning); October 3rd, 2026

A one-time, two-hour workshop to introduce the basics of Brioche Knitting: an innovative way to work two colours simultaneously while creating reversible - and very warm - fabrics. The class will cover brioche theory, casting on, and working with two colours. By the end of the class you will be set up to knit a two-tone brioche cowl. 

All class attendees must be 16 years or older. 

When: Saturday, October 3rd from 8-10am

Prerequisites: basic knitting skills (cast on, knit, purl, increase, decrease)

Materials: 100g worsted weight yarn in EACH of two colours (high contrast and ideally not black so you can see your stitches);
- 5.0mm, 16" circular needle. 
All class materials can be purchased at Galt House of Yarn, though you may bring your own. This class occurs after hours and the cash register will be closed. Please purchase items in advance.

 Cancellations and Refunds: 

If there is insufficient registration for the class (minimum 3 participants), you will be notified and your full class registration fee will be refunded.

If you no longer able to participate in your class, you must contact classes@galthouseofyarn.ca prior to the class confirmation email being sent. Once your class has been confirmed, we are no longer able to withdraw you from the class or issue a refund.

We regret that there are no refunds for class absences and no make-up sessions.
