Knitting III - Toe-Up Socks; June 6th and 13th, 2026

Take your socks in a whole new direction! Learn how to knit socks from the toe to top in our two-part class. The class will cover casting on, increasing, and shaping the heel.

All class attendees must be 16 years or older.

When: Saturdays June 6th and 13th from 8-10am
You will be given 'homework' during the week; please allow additional time at home to work on your projects. 

Prerequisites: some sock knitting experience; basic knitting skills (cast on, knit, purl, increase, decrease, working in the round); 

Materials: 100g DK or worsted weight sock yarn; 3.25mm or 4mm needles (set of double pointed or 32" circular for magic loop). 
All class materials can be purchased at Galt House of Yarn, though you may bring your own. This class occurs after hours and the cash register will be closed. Please purchase items in advance.

An email confirming class details will be sent approximately 4 days ahead of the class from classes@galthouseofyarn.ca

Cancellations and Refunds: 

If there is insufficient registration for the class (minimum 3 participants), you will be notified and your full class registration fee will be refunded.

If you no longer able to participate in your class, you must contact classes@galthouseofyarn.ca prior to the class confirmation email being sent. Once your class has been confirmed, we are no longer able to withdraw you from the class or issue a refund.

We regret that there are no refunds for class absences and no make-up sessions.
